Instructional Theme

My instructional theme for this course focuses on middle school mathematics,

specifically 7
th
grade students. The students are currently attending Roosevelt Middle School and
are working to be placed into Advanced 8
th
Grade Mathematics next year. Some of the skills that
need to be developed include the number system, order of operations, ratios and proportional
relationships, and statistics and probability. The audience consists of 14 males and 11 females.
These students will be learning these math skills through differentiation and technology.
