2. It was hard for us to decide which sample type to use. The thing we usually came back to is that we only
have 67 participants in the study total. In order to use a cluster sample, we would need 70 participants so that
we could create to clusters of participants of equal size. To use a systematic sampling, we tried every other
participant and only got 34 for a sampling. We couldnt group the participants by male and female and choose
random participants from those groups because then we just chose exactly how many would be sampled for our
variable. So we decided to take the first 35 participants for a convenience sampling.
3. The simple sample resulted in more male participants than female participants with a gap of 3. On the other
side, the convenience sample resulted in a more equal result with 1 more female participant than male.
4. I found it very interesting that the convenience sample was the closest sample to the real study frequency.
In the real study, there are more female participants than male. The random sampling had more males whereas
the convenience study had one more female. I expected the random sampling to be closer accurate than the
convenience sample.
