All homework is expected to be completed and turn in on the assigned date. If homework is not tuned in on the assigned date then a student will be given a ZAP slip and have one additional day to complete the assignment for 50% of the possible points. If homework that is turned in after the second day a zero will be given for that assignment. For Example: If a homework assignment is due on Wednesday, it should be turned in on Wednesday. If the assignment was not finished on Wednesday it would still be accepted on Thursday, but for half-credit. If the assignment is not turned in on Thursday then a zero will be given.
*If a student is absent then homework will be due when the student returns.

Cell Phone Policy for Miss Messenger There may be times when occasionally cell phones can be used for instructional use. On those days you will be given advanced notice about this. On other days I would like your cell phones turned off and placed in the shoe rack when you first enter the classroom. This way your phone wont be a distraction. If you choose not to put your cell phone in the rack then the consequences are as follows: 1 st Offence: Verbal warning to put the phone away 2 nd Offence: The cell phone will be sent to the office and the student will receive a detention.
