Warm-ups can be done on the computer or on a piece of paper.

Assignments will be given on appropriate days. Throughout the year the student should be
reviewing each section of a chapter the day before it is lectured upon. The proper section for a
particular day can be found on the syllabus.

Late Work Policy

Late work will be accepted at the discretion of the instructor. Penalties apply as follows: A paper
which is late by 1 day will be penalized by 15%, 2 days by 30%, 3 days by 50%. No papers are
accepted the last week of the grading period.

Make-Up Procedures
Assignments can only be made-up if the student has missed a class/lecture. Look at your
calendar for assignments that are in the book. Please see the teacher upon your return for any
other assignments. The number of days you are absent will determine the number of days you
have to turn it in if due. For example, if you are absent 2 days, you will be given 2 days to turn in
any assignments given during those days. Assignments that were due the first day you were
absent must be turned in the day you return.

Tests
A student who is absent the day of an exam will be obliged to take the exam on their day of return
to class. Example: A student who is here on the 19th, misses the exam on the 20th, returns on the
21st must take the exam that day. Exceptions will apply to students who are gone more than 2
days.
