PARAPARAUMU SCHOOL FIRE MUFTI DAY FRIDAY 29

I am sure you will have all heard about the devastating arson at Paraparaumu School in
Wellington. It is hard to imagine how the staff and students are feeling after losing
four classrooms and their library to mindless vandalism.

Many of you will remember the amazing support we received from around New Zealand
after the earthquakes. In that same tone we are going to support Paraparaumu School
with a mufti day on Friday 29
th
August. Your generous donations will be sent to them,
letting them know we are thinking of them, as they cope with the disruptions this has
caused.

SKI-ING NOTICES: have come home separately today with
Year 5 8 students.

SKATING NOTICES: have come home separately today with
Year 4 students.

CYCLE SAFETY NOTICES: for all Year 6 students have come
home separately today with Year 6 students.
GYMNASTICS: Year 1 3 Monday 15

The cost is $8.00 and needs to be paid by Thursday 11
th
September.
Payment of the above costs can be made on the internet, 12-3147-0225814-00. If payment is a
problem, please contact the school office as soon as possible, to discuss possible solutions.

Dress your child/ren up in red and black and help their class win a trip to AMI stadium for the
Captains Run on Thursday 11

September.

you wish for your child/ren to have individual and family photos. It is expected that all
students will be in clean and correct school uniform.
