This semester long course seeks to prepare students for the SAT. This preparation is centered
around College Boards Official Study Guide. This guide in conjunction with the a!iance
Online "#rep $e% #rogram will &e the core of our preparation. ' ha!e high e(pectations for all
students and ' ha!e no dou&t that you will do your &est to meet them. Below are some &asic

SAT Preparation is a class for juniors that fts into the physical education
rotation. In this class, students will be given instruction on the SAT exa. The
class will be focused on learning how to approach SAT !uestions. Its priary
goal is to ta"e away the fear of the un"nown # to a"e students cofortable
with the forat, pitfalls, and probles on the SAT exa. The course covers
all sections of the exa and uses $The %&cial SAT Study 'uide( produced by
)ollege*oard. This guide in conjunction with the +aviance %nline Progra
will be the core of our preparation.
