LITERACY focus standards

CCSS 1.OA.1 Use addition and subtraction within
20 (within 10 for now) to solve word problems
involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting
together, taking apart, and comparing, with
unknowns in all positions.

This week we are still working on subtraction stories (take
away, compare, and missing parts). We will continue working
with Fact Families and fact family triangles. This tool helps
teach the relationship between addition and subtraction, and
the commutative property of addition.
