Here are some words you will see on the test that you should be familiar with the meaning of.
cunning- having or showing skill in achieving one's ends by deceit (being
misleading)
devious- dishonest
crafty- clever
aggressive- ready or likely to attack or confront
stunned- shocked
illumined- lighten up or brighten
irreverent- showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken
seriously
enlightened- well-informed or aware
unintelligent- having or showing a low level of intelligence.
primitive- not developed or derived from anything else
justice- fairness
When have you witnessed justice in your life?

Literary Terms to know for ALL reading tests:
cause and effect- because one thing happened this was the effect of it.
Example: because I bumped into the table the vase fell and broke (effect)
cite text- quote the text to prove your answer
evidence- proof of your answer
themes- main idea / authors message / lesson learned
