Dear Com-In- and HR-team!

I would like to officially apply for the full-time Visual Merchandiser position advertised
in the IKEA online forum.

Ever since IKEA opened in Hungary, I have been a fan of IKEA and the principles it
represents: design, philosophy, open, cheerful and human communication. I can also
totally identify with this main idea

"TO CREATE A BETTER EVERYDAY LIFE FOR THE MANY PEOPLE"

Last year, after I came to the conclusion that I could exclusively imagine IKEA as my
workplace, I immediately applied for a shop assistant job that was open at IKEA.
Since November 2013, I have been working as a shop assistant at the Budars
IKEA, in the kitchen furniture department, where kitchen design and advice are
part of my everyday work.

I am planning my carrier at IKEA for the long term, and in the first instance I
imagine working in the visual communication and design sections of the
company. My previous and current work experience gained from working as an IKEA
employee can all be directly applied to the position I am applying for.

I am a fan of interior design, and both form and functionality are equally
important for me. I am motivated by getting to know the customers
requirements and being able to fulfill them. My work itself and attitude in my
work environment are characterized by responsibility, openness, flexibility,
precision and professional humility.

Creative work is my passion: the IKEA Visual Merchandiser position is an important
step, indeed a big leap in that direction for me. I would be very happy if was given
the chance to beautify the IKEA store together with the Com-in team, and
along with that assist both the Sales and Marketing work and customer
communications.
