Explorer Project

Our class generated a list of explorers and is in the beginning

stages of a school and home project.

Students will have time to work collaboratively with other
students and myself in the classroom on the research portion of
this project. They will be required to do some of the completion
of the project at home.

There are several parts to this project.

1. Written report (guided worksheets are provided)
2. Visual supports (maps, pictures, posters)
3. Presentation (video recording or in front of class)
They are encouraged to be creative in their presentation of
the project. As long as the written portion is complete they may
present in any of the following ways.
1. Traditional written report in a folder or binder
2. Write and perform a two person play
3. Write and perform a puppet show
4. Write and record a green screen news cast
5. Create a rap or song
6. Make a box diorama
7. Large Poster
8. Brochure
9. Powerpoint
