NME - New musical express is a very popular rock and roll magazine
which caters for my target audience, it has many good ideas that I
could use as inspiration such as the clear and memorable masthead.
NME is also is very aware on its target audience and very rarely caters
for anyone other than its core market something that I will also take
note of. Finally its articles are always very engaging to the reader and
gains attention quickly another goal I will be aiming to achieve .

Kerrang- Is also a is a very popular rock magazine however it caters

a more heavy rock audience rather than my intended target audience,
however it has many good ideas that I could use as inspiration such as
the clear and memorable masthead. The core audience that kerrang
caters for heavy rock artist and the magazine almost never sways
from this which is consistent ideal that I am aiming to follow for my
music magazine it also has a very unique articles that rarely follow
convention of music magazines this has hugely increased popularity
of 'Kerrang!'.

'Q' Is slightly different from the previous two magazines as it does

feature rock but does likely stray from its core audience but
occasionally featuring artists from other genres. It also follows the
convention of the previous magazines by having a clear and
memorable masthead which I will use as use as inspiration. 'Q's'
articles are always unique and original this helps it become a very
engaging magazine to read, something I will be looking for to appease
my target audience.
