Multiphase Well Testing

Metode Perrine (1956)

The method is a modified single-phase
approach. An equivalent liquid of constant
properties is defined as the sum of the three
phases: oil, water and gas (Perrine, 1956;
Martin, 1959). The analysis yields the effective
mobility of this equivalent fluid, but it does
not give the absolute reservoir permeability
directly.

Metode Perrine (1956)

Anggapan:
Tiga fasa secara seragam terdistribusi dalam
reservoir.
Saturasi dianggap konstan dan bebas dari
tekanan.
Tekanan kapiler diabaikan, tekanan sama
untuk setiap fasa.
Gradien tekanan kecil.
Gradient saturasi kecil.

Pseudo Pressure m(P) Approach

Fetkovich (1973) proposed the following
deliverability equation:
Fetkovich (1973) also proposed the use of a pseudo
pressure function, m(p), for both transient and
pseudosteady state solutions. The pseudo pressure
function suggested was:

Raghavan (1976) utilized this pseudopressure approach for
analyzing buildup and drawdown tests in solution gasdrive reservoirs to estimate absolute permeability and
wellbore skin.
