Procedure
During lunchtime children will engage in activity in making their own sandwich. Everything will be
prepped out onto the table. Bread, meat, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, cheese, and mustard, they
will be able to choose from.

Advanced Preparation:
Food will be prep during school time

List Materials:
Bread
Meat (turkey or ham)
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Mayonnaise
Cheese
Mustard
Plastic knives and spoons
Paper plate

Developmental Benefits:
children will learn how to make their own sandwich, follow directions, enhance fin motor skills,
and build literacy.
