Goal:
To teach children how to count using the letters in their names
Objective:
Children will count how many letters are in their name. Then graph it
Transition Plan
Read a book, Andy, That's My Name by Tomie dePaola
Procedure
After the book has been read to the children, the teacher will have each child name
printed on each desk. Each child must count each letter in their first and last name.
Then graph it onto the graph sheet.
Advanced Preparation:
Children name will be printed before the activity begins

Paper
Pencil

Children will graph their height and shoe size
