Paint brushes
Cut outs of the letter B

Curriculum Content:
Writing in various ways: drawing, scribbling, and using letter-like forms, invented
spelling and conventional forms
Beginning
Present it at large group time as an activity before we break into small groups.
Middle:
Children will begin to familiarize themselves with the letter B and paint the letter.
Extensions:
Earlier:
Children will paint the letter B
Later:
Children will be able to recognize the letter B and understand the sound of the letter.
End
Have children put paint brushes away and wash hand to prepare for next activity.
