Curriculum Content:
Starting and Stopping action on signal.
Beginning
Introduce to children at large group time
Middle:
Children with follow along to Simon and learn to only do what Simon says.
Extensions:
Earlier: Call out simple directions like touching head or wiggle fingers
Later: Call out more challenging directions like pat you head and rub your tummy or pat
your head and hop on one foot.
End
We will end by shaking sillies out and sitting down to choose activities for the day
as Simon says.
Follow-up Ideas:
1. Try games like Red Light, Green Light and Mr. Fox
2. Follow along to the Freeze dance song.
