    Beginning
    I will introduce the activity and materials at large group before children break off into
    small groups for daily activities.
    Middle:
    Children will explore self-reflection, by looking in a mirror and drawing themselves.
    Extensions:
    Earlier:
    Children will scribble and draw on the paper.
    Later:
    Children will be able to describe what they are drawing after looking in the mirror. And
    what they think they look like.
    End
    Teacher will collect mirrors while children place crayons, markers and left over paper in
    containers.
    Follow-up Ideas:
    1. Gather back to large group and have everyone describe themselves to each other
    2. Have children draw a family portrait.
