Title of Lesson: Ice Cream Cone

Targeted Domain: Cognitive

with Color or Numbers Labels

Goal: To help children memorize numbers and colors by using a game.

Objective: To let children play and communicate with their classmates.

Transition Plan: Sing a song with numbers and colors.

Procedure: Create an ice cream cone with scoops of colors and numbers.
Also laminating it so children could touch it. Also make a spin the wheel
paper, so children can spin it and when it lands on a color they have to
say the color out loud and say something that is that color. Also for the
number they have to say the number out loud.

Advanced Preparation: Have everything well organized and laminated.

List Materials: ice cream laminated and spin the wheel paper.

Developmental Benefits: cognitive because children count, use their

imagination.

Future Plans: Take children to eat ice cream, towards end of the school
year.
