Objective: Children will learn how to sort each form of transportation where
they travel
Transition Plan: Discuss with children the different transportation and how they
are used
Procedure: Let each child choose a form of transportation pieces. Take turns
asking each child what form of transportation they have and invite them to place
their form of transportation on the board where it would travel. Ask them would
your airplane go in the air on top, on the road in the middle or in the water on the
bottom? Then after each child has place they form of transportation where they
want it count and see which category has the most
Future Plans: Give duplicate set of what you have to children, show your piece ,

ask where it should go place yours then have child come place theirs next to yours
