Attached are math work samples from recent weeks. Please review the work with your child and encourage
her/him to set goals for the coming weeks. If you have any questions, I can be reached by phone 3:30-4:00
weekday afternoons at Salem Avenue Elementary (301-766-8313) or by email (WeberRay@wcps.k12.md.us)
at any time.
Please note the skills (on the checklist) for which your child has demonstrated a need for practice. Many
mistakes are often careless and students need to remember to be meticulous in their work. These skills will be
reviewed continuously throughout the year. This week we will start area and perimeter and then move onto
fractions for the remainder of the marking period.
