The Next Step PCS is currently looking for an Attendance/Transportation

Monitor:
The Next Step PCS works with students ages 16-24, who are looking to obtain their
GED. The position is responsible for investigating and counseling students with
excessive attendance problems and assisting students with transportation subsidies
and registry. The position institutes legal proceedings; and presents case information to
related team(s) and administrators and involves conducting home visits. The position
works jointly with case managers to assess student challenges; interprets attendance
policies; works as a team member to develop prevention/intervention strategies;
monitors student progress; enters and monitors data and makes referrals.
The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess strong
computer skills (specifically Excel and Word). They must have strong attention to detail
in order to spot inaccuracies when entering and maintaining data. Proficient recordkeeping and multitasking skills are also important. The ideal candidate must be able to
effectively maintain and compile accurate files, records and reports as well as often
execute two or more tasks simultaneously. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able
to work productively with others and facilitate meetings on a weekly basis. Candidate
must have high school diploma, bachelors degree is preferred. This is a full-time,
