SECOND NATIONAL TEACHERS CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE CENTER

FOR TEACHERS CONTINUING EDUCATION (PCTCE), INC.
The Philippine Center for Teachers Continuing Education (PCTCE), Inc., will
hold its Second National Teachers Conference with the theme Teaching and Writing
Beyond the Classroom: Bringing Competence, Compassion, and Conscience from
September 20 to 21, 2014 at the Institute of Social Order (ISO), Ateneo de Manila
University, (AdMU), Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The Conference aims to:
1. provide opportunities which will make teachers effective, efficient,
sensitive, and responsive to the needs of the learners;
2. integrate significant human experience in the classroom, thus,
making teaching understandable and meaningful; and
3. make them a perfect emblem of intelligence, integrity, and morality in
and beyond the classroom.
The target participants are school administrators, teachers across subject areas,
education students and other interested individuals.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the nodisruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled
Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance
Therewith.
