Jan 29th- 8:45am PHCT presents Charlottes Web All set on drivers!
Jan 30th Day of School for students Early dismissal at 11:48
SCOOTPAD: The spelling words are tricky this week, so your camper may want to break
them up and sort them by their patterns/memorize them. For example: The bird fell in the
dirt, sir. is an example of a great way to remember which words have the same pattern.
Help your camper SEE this image in their mind so retrieval on the test is easier. Due to
spelling word difficulty and a day on Friday, there will be no Sweet Sentence this week.
BOX TOPS: Please keep clipping and sending in those BOX TOPS to help our campers. This is
FREE MONEY for our classroom to put toward ScootPad upgrade, field trip costs, classroom
supplies, Brain Break snacks, etc. Ask neighbors and relatives for help!!!
Our NWEA testing results are not yet completed. We had some testing issues, so the bulk of
the class still has to finish the reading portion when we return next week during our
technology time. Again, I urge you to stick to that 7:30-8:00 bedtime routine every night for
consistency. Some students did not yet finish, (YEA! They took their time!!) so they will be
called down to the lab to complete their tests. Please remind your campers to s-l-o-w- d-o-wn and think through the questions. Slow and steady wins the race
Looking forward to the week ahead,
