Did you know that the school system is cutting funding for art programs? 901 Arts is an
after school program where students can come and express themselves through music and art.
We are striving to maintain our programs and continue to impact the lives of many children in
the Better Waverly community. We hope that you are able to reach out and help us, just how we
have reached out and helped many children who live in this community. Last year we hosted 155
students throughout the school year and 50 children attended our summer arts program.
Considering it is back to school and the education system has cut funding, we need your
help to reach our goal of $5,000. This money will help us buy art and music supplies,
transportation for the drum line and other expenses.
It is our mission to provide a safe, creative and empowering space for Better Waverly
Youth to express themselves and develop as artists and community leaders. In order to obtain our
mission and goals, we need the help of the community and other supporters. Without your help,
we wouldnt be able to help and serve the community like we currently do.
We ask that you volunteer or donate to help us achieve our goals. You can donate now
through 901 Arts. Your donation will allow us to help serve our community and build leaders of
tomorrow and is tax deductible!
Your generosity will help the children of the Better Waverly community and will allow us
to continue the work that we are currently doing.
