Wah Yan 100+ Music Festival @ Bloom Campaign

First and foremost, may we wish you all best health and a supple mind amidst the crazy pandemic.

About 100 years ago, our Jesuit Fathers traversed the sea and dedicated their lives to nurturing
generations of Wahyanites. Today, numerous capable and caring leaders from the two Wah Yan Colleges
have been serving Hong Kong and the World as Men for and with Others. The legacy of Jesuit education
beckons and the Foundation has started a major fundraising campaign named “Dream Campaign” in 2008 to
support the two Wah Yan in pursuit of academic excellence and character formation.

Your generosity has enabled us to amass $154 million for the Dream Campaign thus far, of which
$150 million had been carefully and accurately appropriated since 2009. By now, the two Wah Yan have
been able to continue as top schools with outstanding performances in the DSE and extra curricular activities.

The world is gradually returning to order and you will agree that success is always for those who
help themselves. Looking ahead, the two Wah Yan have determined to build capacities of young Wahyanites
by initially offering more enhancement classes for needy pupils, STEAM programmes and NET teachers, so
that they can cope with the evolving needs of the society, be committed to serving others in need and
withstand the test of time.

To sustain these meaningful initiatives in long term, an endowment of $200 million initially is a
prerequisite. A tall order as such, the Foundation will soon launch a massive fundraising drive named
“Bloom Campaign ( )” to gather this worthwhile resource for the two Wah Yans in one go.

As the first initiative of the Bloom Campaign, the “Wah Yan 100+ Music Festival” will be held on
4th – 9th January 2022 at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

The Music Festival will tour the music odyssey in Wah Yan, when our school orchestras, choir,
alumni, and friends of Wah Yan of different times will perform in 5 nights like more than a jukebox. It is a
testament to the fruits of whole person development by the Jesuits.

We are calling upon you to support the Music Festival through donations and participations. Please
