What We Learned
Reading: We read the passage
Friendly Harvest and discussed and
wrote about the advantages and
disadvantages of organic farming.
Writing: We continued writing our
informational essays.
Math: We continued working on
division and will be taking a test on
Module 4 next Tuesday.
Science: We continued discussing
simple machines including, levers,
pulleys, wheel and axles, and
wedges.

Teacher Message

I hope everyone had a great week! The students


are still working hard researching their topics for
their informational essays. We are also working
on posters with our 2nd grade reading buddies to
celebrate Black History Month in February. Also,
Scholastic book orders were placed and should
arrive sometime next week. Have a great
weekend!
