We at Honaunau are so thankful to have families that care.

On
Friday 2/6 there was a fire below one of our buildings. Ben Wroten,
father of Dylan, along with Miles Meeks, father of Phoenix jumped into action
to help us extinguish the fire and control it until the Fire Department arrived.
Thank you so much for helping us! We are so grateful that they were there to
help!!

This month Our Book Of The Month is, "The Boy On Fairfield Street" and it is about the life of Ted Geisel
whom we now know as Dr. Seuss. We will celebrate his birthday on Friday, February 27. (His birthdate is
March 2, 1904). The book is wonderful reading! Did you know "Dr. Seuss" sold his first cartoon for $25?
There are many wonderful examples of how to not give up on yourself.
