May Day Prep
The end of the year is closely upon us. Traditionally Honaunau
School is known for our May Day, however we are doing well
academically too.
To continue to meet the demands placed upon us, teachers must
focus on getting your children ready for testing, middle school as
well as to be college and career ready. As a result, our May Day will
be more of a celebration of our efforts instead of a fundraiser. It will
be a Carnival Event w/May Day performances, food and game
booths.
Honaunau PTO has been dissolved. So we need parents. If there
are parents willing to Lead/Head committees the Country Store,
Live Auction, and Rummage Sale, please stop by the office or give us
a call. Mahalo for your understanding.

We are excited to share that, beginning the week of spring break, we will begin selling plant starts at
Ace Hardware in Captain Cook as a fundraiser for our School Garden Program. Our students
have been busy planting herb, lettuce, kale, eggplant, pepper, and tomato seeds for our business venture! If
you LOVE veggies, and our school garden, come check it out! We are taking requests, so if you have anything
you wish to grow in your garden, lettuce know!
