FLANGES FOR HIC

1) Material Specification: SA105 (Latest Edition )/API 650 11th edition

Add.3Aug,2011.
2) Size: As per MTO.
3) Product Requirement:
a)

a) Chemical Analysis: i.Chemical Analysis: C=0.23%Max.

CE<0.43, Max. S content0.01%&Max P content0.01%.
ii.Total unspecified element shall be less than 0.5%.
iii.The micro alloying element B,Ti,Nb(Cb),V and Ti and0.0005%
for B.
iv.Hardness of carbon steel shall be as per NACE MR103.

b) Tensile Test(sample: size/heat/lot)

c) Heat Treatment :Normalized.

4) Visual ,Dimensional & any other Requirement: As per ANSI B 16.5(upto 24)
and above as per ANSI B16.47 series B.(RF Finish shall be 125 AARH)

5) General requirement: as per SA788

6) HIC TEST: HIC test is not required.

7) Inspection Agency:IOTECS

8) MTC(Material test certificate as per EN10204/3.1) required: YES

9) Documents Required: Original IRN and MTC duly reviewed by IOTECS.
