General Requirements
Nozzle flanges 24 inch and smaller shall be as per ANSI B16.5 Edition 2017, Nozzle flanges larger than

24 inch nominal shall be as per ASME B16.47 series B Edition 2017.
2 All Forgings shall Confirms to ASME SEC II Part A SA350 Latest Edition 2021.

3 Flanges Gasket Contact Face For spiral wound gaskets: 3.2 μm Ra (125 μinch AARH).❶

4 Material Certification confirming to EN 10204 3.1.(original MTC shall be provided)

Additional Requirments

1 Materials shall conform to NACE MR 0103 Latest Edition.

2 All carbon steel Flanges shall be supplied in Fine grained, Fully killed & normalised condition.

3 Hardness value shall be restricted to 200HB (22HRC) for all P1 materials.

4 Ni content shall be limited below 1%w,

Chemical Rquirments:
􀁸 maximum allowable Carbon content 0.21%
5 􀁸 maximum allowable Manganese content 1.35%
􀁸 maximum allowable Phosphorus content 0.025%w
􀁸 maximum allowable Sulfur content 0.020%w

6 Carbon Equivalent CE = C + Mn/6 + (Cr +Mo + V)/5 + (Ni + Cu) /15 should be limited to 0.43.

7 No weld repair shall be permitted.

8 All Materials shall be procured from Approved Vendor List only.

9 End Caps to be provided to protect flange serration area and forginig finish.❶

Mechanial Testing as per following :❶

1. As supplied Condition
2. As supplied Condition + 1 x SR

SR Cycle thickness upto 25mm:

Simulation Heat treatment Required as per below cycle :
Maximum Loading temp. : 300°C
Maximum Heating Rate : 178°C / Hour
Soaking temp. : 620°C
10 Minimum Soaking time : 48 Minutes
Maximum Cooling Rate : 224°C / Hour

SR Cycle thickness above 25mm & upto 95mm (for BLRF):

Simulation Heat treatment Required as per below cycle :
Maximum Loading temp. : 300°C
Maximum Heating Rate : 222°C / Hour
Soaking temp. : 620°C
Minimum Soaking time : 1 Hout 40 Minutes
Maximum Cooling Rate : 280°C / Hour
