    2-D

    Geometry
    Our first math unit in Term 2 is 2-D Geometry. During our 2-D Geometry unit
    students will have opportunities to participate in whole class, small group, and
    individual activities. Students will complete a variety of hands-on tasks,
    manipulative and material based explorations, paper and pencil assignments, and
    unit quizzes. Our 2-D Geometry unit will focus on the following expectations.



    Grade 2:




    Grade 3:

    Identify two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional


    figures and sort and classify them by their geometric
    properties
    Compare two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional
    figures and sort them by their geometric properties
