KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: The


Philippine Institute of Civil
Engineers in Kuwait celebrated its
first anniversary on Thursday at the
Royal Mughla Restaurant in
Fahaheel with Philippine Charge d
Affaires Atty Raul H Dado and
Labour Attache Atty Cesar Chavez Jr
as guests of honour.
The anniversary celebration commenced with the singing of the
Kuwait and Philippine national
anthems followed by the invocation
delivered by Engr Edward Pecina
and Engr Yusoph Cabal. Looking
back a year that has gone, Engr
Roberto Valenzuela shared the organisations brief history, how it was
formed and the activities that the
group initiated for the past year.

striving to see the light in every challenge and solutions to every adversity, stated Dado in his speech.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: Some 150


members of the Pinoy Z Lovers, a
charity advocacy group, were treated
to a power yoga class under the tutelage of Flex Executive Gym
Gyanendra Singh on Friday after
their regular power-packed workout
in the Judo Hall at the Qadsiya Sports
Club in Hawally.
The groups usual Friday morning
kicked off with the exciting exercise
routines prepared by Personal trainer
Nelia Derodar followed by the cooldown routine led by Jannet Miranda.
Derodar was impressed with the
stamina and resistance of PZL members after successfully completing the
tough workout. She lauded the group
for their advocacy in helping OFWs
in Kuwait particularly the distressed
