Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation Celebrates John Riley as


First Lifetime Honorary Board Member
Charter Board Member recognized for lifetime of service to wildlife
Pocono Manor, PA The Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation officially named
Mr. John Riley of Scotrun, PA as a Lifetime Honorary Board Member on Thursday,
September 25, 2014. A special ceremony was held during the foundations Board of Directors
Meeting at the Pocono Manor Inn in Pocono Manor, PA. President John Frailey and Chairman
Russ Schleiden presented Riley with a plaque and resolution celebrating the honor and his
contributions to the foundation and wildlife. The charter board member is the first member of
the organization to receive the designation of Lifetime Honorary Board Member. Riley was
joined by wife Phyllis, family and friends at the event.
The founder of Riley and Company, Inc., John Riley is a graduate of Eastern University with
over 40 years of experience as a certified public accountant. He opened the first offices of
Riley and Company, Inc. in 1969 in Mount Pocono, PA and later added a second office in
Stroudsburg, PA. Riley used his financial background to help found the Wildlife For Everyone
Endowment Foundation in 2004 and served as the organizations treasurer during its early
years.
Riley has spent much of his life dedicated to helping others, including wildlife and its habitat.
He was honored in 1990 by PICPA with its distinguished public service award for the state of
Pennsylvania. He is also a past citizen of the year of both the Mount Pocono and Monroe
County Chambers of Commerce. In addition to Wildlife For Everyone Endowment
Foundation, Riley served as president of the state Federation of Sportsmen Clubs and
Pennsylvania Game Commission, treasurer of the Eastern Monroe Public Library and on the
board of directors of the Kettle Creek Endowment Foundation and the Affordable Housing
Board. He was honored by the Boy Scouts of America, Minsi Trails Council with its executive
award.
Im very grateful, Riley said. I thank god for my family, health and good fortunes.
When I met him, I found him to be a very honest guy and a very detailed man, Frailey said.
We got to be good friends. He deserves this honor.
As a Lifetime Honorary Board Member, Riley may continue to attend Wildlife For Everyone
Endowment Foundations Board of Directors Meetings. The foundation once again thanks
him for his lifelong contributions to Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation, its
mission and wildlife conservation.
The Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation was established to provide permanent
private support for wildlife habitat enhancement, wildlife research and education, land
preservation, and for the establishment of a Wildlife Research and Education Center in State
College. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit Foundation. More information about the
