November 2014
Being a Kairos leader helped me to become an even more Christ-Centered
person because I took things I learned from my September Kairos and
applied those morals in guiding a group of my classmates in November. I
learned that God is the source of my life and he is the reason I have been
blessed with all I have.

o Bronze Medalist in Academic Decathlon: Math
Winter 2014
In Academic Decathlon I was required to be a complex thinker in solving
math problems in an allotted amount of time.
o Digital Design Course
Spring 2015
In this class I learned to be a complex thinker with having to work with
Adobe Photoshop and InDesign along with Microsoft Word. I was a
complex thinker when having to complete my assignments in an allotted
amount of time.
o Girl Athletic Association Public Relations
2014-present
As the Public Relations of the Girls Athletic Association, I have to go in
front of the entire student body every morning to relay information to the
students about their schools sports teams.

Being a student ambassador requires me to communicate effectively with
administration, parents of middle school students, and the middle school
students themselves.
o Homecoming Princess
2013 and 2014
I learned to be an effective communicator through the Homecoming
nomination process. I was sat down in front of a panel of students and
teachers and was asked a wide variety of questions. Then I was required to
write a speech to recite in front of the entire student body at Saint John
Bosco.

statistics of the runners, taking attendance, and motivating the team to run

o Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
Fall 2013
In my Morality class, I learned to be a community leader by donating my
time and money to better an organization that our class wanted to help out.
I made posters and went around to other classes to ask for spare change in
exchange for a piece of candy on Halloween at school.
o Conference on Aging- VITAS Hospice Care
Spring 2013 & 2014
In the Conference in 2013 I was a volunteer where I learned to be a
community contributor by navigating the vendors to their booths in the
morning, assisting those that attended the conference, and passing out
lunches. In 2014, I was a volunteer coordinator, which required me to
assist the head volunteer coordinator in gathering volunteers to assist us.
o Long Beach Animal Shelter Volunteer
2011-present
I am involved in the Pet Literacy program at the Long beach Animal
Shelter where I read to the dogs and cats to prepare them for future
adoption. This program is to help the animals prepare themselves for what
it would be like to be adopted.
o ASB member
2014-present.
I am involved as a member of ASB and this has taught me the qualities of
being a community contributor by being a part of my school. I have
contributed by helping organize events, participating in such events, and
assisting others when they need help.
