What Were Learning

Reading: We will continue our unit on informational texts
by determining the main idea or topic of passages or
paragraphs. We are about to finish reading The Cricket in
Times Square as a class.

Language Arts: We will be working on expanding sentences

by adding adjectives and adverbs and rearranging them.
Writing: We will continue to work on writing narratives.
We are really going to work on adding more detail to our
writing this quarter as we review all 3 genres.
Math: We will learn how to subtract 3-digit numbers.
Science: We have begun learning about various animal life
cycles.
