What Were Learning

Reading: We will work on recounting stories and determining their central messages. Language Arts: We will wrap up our unit on possessives and contractions. Spelling Words: plan, wanted, friend, because, while, people, where, were, your, youre Writing: We are writing opinion pieces about some of our favorite things. They must start with an introduction, state our opinion, have reasons to support it, and a closing to wrap it up. I will send home a scored one next week. Math: We will be focusing on solving one- and two-step story problems for the rest of this quarter. We will be reviewing previously taught concepts through Math Centers.
