What Were Learning

Reading: We are continuing our training for Daily 5! We are reading Charlottes Web as a class. We will work on asking and answering questions before, during, and after reading. Spelling Words: day, did, has, her, him, fun, eat, jump, man, not Writing: We will continue to work on writing narratives. We will be writing about a special object that we have. Math: We will continue to work with place value and identifying how many hundreds, tens, and ones a number has. We will learn about the digits in a number and how their place affects their value. We will learn to write numbers in different ways like: expanded form, word form, standard form, base-ten blocks. Social Studies: We will continue to work on a unit with landforms, Georgia regions, and Georgia rivers.

Classroom News & Reminders *Sign the behavior log and planner nightly. *Homework packets are due back the following Thursday. *We go to the Media Center on Thursday this week!

We did practice a Code Red drill last week. You can have a followup conversation at home, but we talked about the main reason for a Code Red is when someone is in or around our school that doesnt belong.
