Reading: We will be studying fairy tales. We are going to

compare and contrast different versions of Cinderella. We
are reading Mr. Poppers Penguins as a class.
Language Arts: We are learning about using apostrophes
to show possession and to make contractions.

Feb 5 2 Grade Performance

Writing: We will continue to work on opinion writing. We

will focus on giving more detailed reasons to support our
opinions.
Math: We will learn how to count groups of coins and bills.
Social Studies: We have begun a unit on civil rights. We
will continue to learn about Jackie Robinson this week.
