Look at What Were Doing This Week


Science: We will review solids and liquids and
learn about mixtures and solids. We will begin our
engineering STEM unit on improving the play
dough process.
ELA: We will be learning about the life of a
Native American child and comparing their life to
a pilgrim child. We will also be learning about the
First Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving break, we will
review non-fiction text features and will be
reading South Carolina Award winning picture
books.
Math: We will be learning about points, line
segments, parallel line segments, and
quadrangles. We will also explore polygons,
arrays, and attributes.
Writing: We will continue researching well-known
people from history.

November 26-28: Thanksgiving Break
December 3: Early Release Day (Dismiss at 11:40)
December 11: Winter Arts Festival at 6:30pm
December 19: Class Winter Party
December 20-January 6: Winter Break
January 12: Report Cards
