I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Staar

testing has begun for fourth and fifth
graders which has helped our class realize
that our exams are closer than ever. I cant
stress enough the importance of good
behavior, completing homework, and reading
at home.

MAKE SURE YOUR

CHILD IS
COMPLETING AND
RETURNING
HOMEWORK (MATH)

Students are struggling in reading,

particularly with vocabulary. The biggest
way they can help to broadent heir
vocabulary is to READ!!!! Please ensure your
child is doing his/her part at home too.
Students will be having consistant math
homework to review concepts. We wont have
time during the school day to hit each and
every concept, therefore Im trying to
compensate with homework review.
