High School Earth Science Teacher
Plan curriculum and instruct ninth grade GT and on grade level Earth
and Space Science classes. An active participant of the School
Improvement Team to improve school wide achievement and student
engagement. A member of the Ninth Grade Team working towards
providing success stories for students who are struggling. Working
within the school Literacy Team with the Literacy Coach to develop
meaningful professional development. Head Varsity Coach of the Girls
Lacrosse Program since 2014 and Varsity Assistant since 2007. State
Champions in 2011, 2013, and 2014.

Planned and instructed sixth grade earth science, seventh grade life
science, seventh grade math (MSM2), and eighth grade physical
science throughout my tenure at CMS. Participated on the schools
Vision Team when a new principal took over. Developed engaging
lessons that reflected my experience at NASA Educators Space Camp.

Created a Professional Development experience for the entire staff
based on Mindset by Carol Dweck. Developed a relationship with a
couple middle school principals to gain knowledge and insight to their
differing duties. Joined the Literacy team to develop a school wide
Professional Development plan with the schools Literacy Coach. Took
part in the Master Schedule.
