Manish

Arora is one of the inspiring contemporary designers in the fashion


world, known for his craftsmanship and unique play on colors, such as his
trademark palette of PINK and GOLD. His designs are inspired by Indian
heritage but with a contemporary vibe

It

was in 1997, that the world first viewed Manishs design aesthetic with
the launch of his label Manish Arora

Further

with the growth Manish exhibiting at the London Fashion Week in

2005.
In

2007, Manish showcased for the first time in Paris Fashion Week. He
became a member of the distinguished French Federation of Pret-a-Porter
the same year.

In 2011, Manish was appointed the Creative Director

for Iconic French Fashion House Paco Robanne where


he designed two successful collections for them.
Manish Arora has been toasted across the Fashion world

with Fashion spreads in International magazines such as V


Magazine, Interview, Vogue, Elle, Harpers, Lofficiel & others.

He has also collaborated with eminent brands such as Walt

Disney, Swarvoski, Swatch, Reebok, Barbie, Mono Prix,


Nespresso, Nivea, MAC Cosmetics, Pommery, Amrapali
amongst others. Manish Arora also holds a Licensing
agreement with Inspecs Eyewear UK.

STYLE
Manish Arora is regarded by many as "the

John Gallianoof India". He is known for a


rich palette of psychedelic colors and kitsch
motifs in garments that combine traditional
Indian crafts like embroidery, appliqu and
beading with Western silhouettes

ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2004 he was awarded theBest Women's Prt Designerat the first ever

Indian Fashion Awards' 2004 held inBombayand MC2 Diffusion Paris started
representing the label for the export business.
Manish participated in theMiami Fashion Weekin May 2005 where he was
presented with the designer's choice for Best Collection Award.
He had a successful debut at theLondon Fashion Week in September 2005
and received an overwhelming response from the press as well as the buyers.
He opened a new store atLodhi Colony Marketin New Delhi in December
2005.
Arora exhibited some of his work at theVictoria & Albert Museum in London
for an exhibition called"Global Local"in association with the British Council,
India.
A fashion jury in a leading Indian publicationOutlookdesignated him "Best
Indian Fashion Designer" and featured him on the cover of its March 2006
issue.
Manish opened his first Manish Arora franchise store inVilla Moda,Kuwait
and anotherManish Arora Fish Frystore at Crescent at The Qutub, New Delhi
in 2006.
In 2007 the firstFish Fry for Reebokconcept store opened at the
Garden of Five Senses, New Delhi, and Arora teamed up with make-up and
cosmetics

Manish arora is an Indian fashion designer

In 1997

started retailing in India.
His second label fish fry in 2001.
During 2002 Manish opened his 1st flagship
store, in new Delhi and in the following
year opened a second store in Mumbai.
