Dear Community Leader,
I am writing to tell you about a Pittsburgh organization that has been serving youth for over 100
years, the Sarah Heinz House Boys & Girls Club.
Sarah Heinz House helps local kidsmostly to become productive, caring citizens by giving them
a safe place to make friends, learn new things and have good role models. Over the years,
Sarah Heinz House has helped thousands of kids to make positive choices and plan for their
futures, and it has only just begun.
Our resident camp is the highlight of the summer for so many kids. Boating, fishing, swimming,
hiking, overnights, archery, rope courses, capture the flag, arts and crafts, leadership, selfreliance, new friendships, team work, respect for nature and respect for one another are just a
few of the exciting and enriching hands on learning experiences provided to our campers all
summer long.
The Sarah Heinz House Alumni Association is proud to host the Annual Golf Outing this year at
Birdsfoot Golf Club in Freeport, PA on June 7, 2014. All proceeds from this event will benefit
our program and give our youth the opportunity to attend our Summer Resident Camp located
just outside Ellwood City, PA.
Your support for our program would be greatly appreciated through one the following
sponsorship opportunities: You may choose to participate by sponsoring a hole for $150. You
may also choose to be a sponsor on our putting green for $75. For your support of our program,
you will receive recognition through signage at the tee box, and our program.
This is a great day for all of those involved. Many of the participants and donors include our
dedicated volunteers who make our programs successful. We are also inviting you to become
involved as a participant and/or supporter. Its a day of fun and fellowship, for a great cause.
