AUDIENCE?

TARGET AUDIENCE
Violet Deceit is targeted at females between the ages of 15 to
25. We aimed our film towards this age group because young
people will be unable to understand the complex mental
illness themes and may find it distressing. Furthermore,
women are stereotypically more prone to mental illness due to
their emotional state which means women are more likely to
relate and feel sympathetic towards the protagonist than a
male. Although, the gritty and confusing themes may appeal
to men.
