Ancestry migration assignment

As it turns out, one of my ancestors actually originated from china

and he/she was sent along with several other Chinese people to
Mexico. Once they arrived they set out to Puebla because thats
where they were originally sent. Once they arrived there a few of
them had migrated there and started a family which is what my
ancestor did. However several other Mexicans were sent to go
across a harsh desert because whoever was in charge of Mexico
or that specific land didnt want all these Chinese people here so
they sent them across Sonora to Mexicali.
