Course: Teaching technological methodologies
Code: 6076-151
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The central purpose of this course is to provide content-area teachers with
a guide on how to infuse technology into the classroom, thereby supporting
instruction in ways that can be extremely effective with ELLs.
This course provides teachers with practical, teacher-friendly strategies and
techniques for using various technological methodologies and software
programs readily available to the public which can enhance the learning
potential. Teaching ELLs through Technology is, specifically, useful for:

Preservice content-area teachers who want to become better


prepared to meet the challenges of their future classrooms;
Content-area teacher educators who would like to address how to
use technology for ELL instruction in their own courses;
ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher educators
who would like to infuse their methods courses with technology
specific information and strategies;

COMPETENCY
Becomes familiar and experiments different methodologies and strategies when
applying several technological resources useful for his/her real teaching practice.

GENERALITIES

To final test right, a minimum of 31 points mark is necessary.


Homework will be handed on the designed dates.
Punctuality and preparation are required.
Check regularly the Moodle Platform and Google classroom groups to
solve different forum or exercises
