MATH- In math is week we will continue to with place
value. We will be taking a math test on Friday.

Vocabulary words:

Reading Skill: Character
-Describing character traits (what are the
characters like in the story?)
English skill: Subject of the sentence
The subject of the sentence tells who or what
the sentence is about. It contains the noun or
nouns. Examples: David is very tall.
Computers and games are fun.
The underlined section is the subject of each
sentence.

Science In science this week, we will be learning

about the tools a scientist uses and how they use
these tools.

Reminders

Cromers Class News

Our class is doing great! We are having such a good
time learning together. Thank you for making sure
that your child finishes their homework by Thursday
to bring to school on Friday. I found a website that
we have been playing some during math this week
that you may want to try at home. It is
www.sheppardsoftware.com. There are tons of
educational, fun games on it. The kids really enjoyed
place value splat! There are several ads on the site
but it is free! Thanks for all you do to make school
successful for your child.

performance on the weekly
tests. Please sign and return
the next day.
