identifying, they will also work with partners to write a short story.

We just played a game in which we performed
different actions. Today, we will be learning more
about actions and how they appear in sentences!
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to
identify a verb within a sentence, and also write
some sentences of your own!

Transition:
Everyone stand up!
We are going to practice identifying verbs in
sentences.
Activity:
When a sentence comes on the board, raise your
hand and tell me which word is the verb.
Then, act it out!
Everyone is doing great!
Everyone may take a seat.
