Started out in the Paging (beepers) industry, then added Answering Service and the
earlier forms of Voice Mail Equipment., Became proficient in Telephone Key Systems,
PBXs and their peripheral equipment, Internet and their peripheral equipment. Became
very strong in the Long Distance Services, the Local Telephone Services, the Internet
Services and the Operator Services provided by both the LECs (Local Exchange Carriers)
and the CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers) to, and including, consultant
advice for the Hospitality Industry and General Businesses.

Have the ability to analyze customer’s telecom bills, to research, propose solutions,
develop good rapport and bring ideas and solutions to the end user from Implementation
of services to closure.

Job Description : In charge of expanding, maintaining and overseeing customer base.
Duties :
• Keeping customers up to date on new products and/or services.
• Coordinating all installations between customer and service provider.
• Managing and resolving all “Trouble Tickets”.
• Supervised 7 in-house employees and the production of 8 outside sales
representatives.
• Acted as trouble shooter for over 450 accounts, small and large hotels, up
to 1,000 rooms.

Job Description : Overseeing start-up operation.
• Manager, in charge of instituting a Telemarketing program to produce leads for
outside sales.
• Manager, for inside office staff and outside sales personnel.
• Ran and developed promotions and ads for Telemarketing Personnel.
Accomplishments
• Within the 1st year of operation, Gencall exceeded the number of net pagers
(beepers) in circulation of any other pager company in the entire Tampa Bay area
without the help of the “Yellow Pages”.

• Was instrumental in opening franchises in Grand Rapids, Michigan and downtown

cities

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : By the time I was 16, I was on my own. I had an


apartment in Berwyn, IL, a full time job and was a straight “A” honor student at Morton
High School in Cicero, Illinois.
Education
• Graduated early in the Senior year from Sterling Morton High School, Cicero, IL in
1977.
• Attended Sales and Marketing courses with hands-on seminars and training
through ICAN, Unlimited in Chicago that also included Public Speaking.
• Attended a Mitel (PBX Manufacturer) training course in Chicago.
• Attended several training programs provided by IPXs, Illinois Bell, Ameritech, MCI,
AT&T, GTE, Paetec, Nuvox and other CLEC’s.
