Assessment: Students will present their 30 second PSA to Academy Mentors. Students must
submit their script and clear the presentation with the instructor prior to the mentor activity.
Students will receive 25 points for the script, 25 points for the presentation, and 50 points for the
YouTube video.

Objective: You will conduct a department presentation on maintaining patient privacy.

Directions: Student will conduct a 3 minute visual presentation for the Pharmacy department
discussing when patient privacy is violated.

Brainstorm how privacy is violated when patients drop off and pick up medication.
Create a Prezi www.prezi.com that demonstrates common ways privacy is violated.
There should be at least one example each of drop off and pick up violations
Practice your presentation, make sure all pronunciation is correct and you are within the
time limit.
5. Present your Prezi to the class.

Topic: Pain Assessment

Directions:

understand levels of pain
2. Using your cell phones, take pictures of your team showing the different body
language for each level of pain
3. Create a PowToon www.powtoon.com showing each level of pain, using your photos
as a guide.

Assessment: Students will review other teams PowToons, evaluating how effectively the
presentation communicates pain. Students will receive 50 points for their own Pow Toon and 50
points for the completed evaluation form for the other teams.
